Tim Platel was a practising solicitor for 25 years with offices in Bath and Bristol. In 2001, after successfully merging his practise with a large Bristol firm, he began working in the IT industry, firstly as a consultant for Professional Computer Group in Dorset, and latterly as In-house Counsel for Easy Convey Ltd in Surrey. Between times, he has continued to lead seminars across the UK on both e-conveyancing and money laundering, and has lectured on behalf of Bristol, Nottingham, Liverpool and Plymouth Law Societies. Tim’s experience as a practising solicitor on the one hand, combined with his in depth knowledge of the legal IT industry on the other, make him uniquely qualified to assist law firms to successfully implement cost effective IT strategies.
